Laser Cutting Resource
Published by on
Offshoot Design is looking at making some small prototypes and we need a laser cutting resource. Does anyone have a good resource that they would suggest? The laser cutting bed size doesn't need to be more then 12"x18".

Re:Laser Cutting Resource
Adam,
You should try talking to LaserExcel. Very friendly and "localish" http://www.laserexcel.com/
If you just have several small pieces (and you're not cutting anything fancy) you can try enticing a Designed Objects student at SAIC. If you're interested I can pass along some people.
David, Thanks for the reply,
David,
Thanks for the reply, I'll check out LaserExcel. What we need cut is pretty small (about 200 business cards) so I'm not sure if they'd want to take on a job like that, but maybe.

No worries Adam, now that I know more about what you're looking for... I think you should contact Melissa Callender. She is a student at SAIC (where she has access to laser cutters (18x32 beds). For 200 business cards that should work.
