DIGMA - A model for the economic voice of design?

I'm on the DIGMA mailing list and have watched their efforts multiply this last year. Curious what kind of impact their starting to make on policy and awareness in Massachusetts and wondering what efforts are currently happening in Illinois to bring this kind of specific economic voice out of the design world?

Thanks for the post Caroline. I hope that Shared-Practice can start to take on some of these responsibilities soon. Really, at the end of the day our goal is to foster and support local design communities. I appreciate you sharing this link, I'll make sure to go over it carefully!
