Why must I apply to post on the Editorialist?

The Editorialist provides a platform for critical discussions and topics. This is the most heavily moderated section of Shared-Practice because we felt there were too few opportunities these days for critical thought to be shared. We encourage you to submit your critical writing for consideration.
